What would you "like to know" about the next poster....

I sometimes buy myself xmas gifts, full stop.  This year it's a ticket to go to Tahoe with my girlfriends before we leave for the UK.  I like surprises, too. My solution with my husband is that we make a list of 10 things and the other person "surprises" us with their choice from the list.

Who do you have trouble finding a gift for: your mom or your dad?

mom. she doesn't want anything and when I  suggest someting she  says  'what would I do  w/ that?' or ' I have loads of  XYZ..'  uughh!!

Ha, I'll be the same way when I'm your mom's age!  How about a basket of gourmet food and goodies that she wouldn't normally buy for herself but would definitely enjoy?

How long is the longest you have driven without stopping?  Where were you headed??

23 hours. Gas & toilet breaks only. Biloxi to Chicago. Did this trip 4 times. It was a grueller! Hey I  was a young poor man with very limited time.


How long can you stand on one foot with your eyes closed?

Not sure, and I'm too lazy to get up and do it right now! But, I have tried this in yoga before and it's VERY hard for me, so probably just a few seconds!

What is your favorite holiday?

4th of july, but it hinges on being in the US at the time.  It's one of two times a year my entire extended family get together for a reunion. I love spending time with all my cousins I never see, we grill out, play badminton, catch up, and drink and be merry  hen we set off fireworks.

Its just a wonderful time.

To start: The perfect salad with green lettuce no white hard parts with fresh croutons, shredded cheese and spicy ranch on the side to dip it into.

Yes - always waiting for a reply but it seems I am online more then most

Yes, we're going to Barcelona in February! 

What has been your favorite vacation?

I really loved going to Hawaii.  And the Cayman Islands.  But I would always take a trip to Paris, no doubt about it!

Do you write letters on paper any more?

yes, really tiny ones-its the only way to smuggle them out of the prison.
