Are you friendly with your neighbors on either side of you?

The woman across the hall introduced herself when I moved in, but that's it. Her husband is decidedly unfriendly. We don't know anyone else in our building.

Do you make an effort to introduce yourself to new neighbors?

Yes I do try....

Have you cleared the snow/ice off your sidewalk?

My husband did... but it's a losing battle... it snows every other day....



Any holidays planned for 2010?

everyday is a holiday as I will be with my husband <insert gag reflex here> lol
Yes we are going to Scotland somewhere in Feb and July going  to take the kids to Jersey!

Favorite alcoholic drink?

beer, any type of beer.... nectar of the gods....

and sailor jerry rum....



is there anywhere else in the world you would live?

if the economy didn't suck and the  politics weren't corrupt..maybe Italy..

is your laundry hamper  mostly full or mostly empty?

Because I did about 10 loads of laundry over the past 5 days, ours is finally empty!!!

Have you ever been to Australia?

Oddly no.   But my mom was born there- so I guess I'm half Aussie.

Where do you want to go to hide from the winter weather?

who was the  first YKYer  you met in person?  and the last one?

I think the first UKYer I met might have been Aimiloo at a meetup in October 2005?

The last ones I met were Shahbanou and pkmac in October 2009.


What's your favorite flavor of ice cream?

It varies by brand, but if they were all set out in front of me, I'll probably go for the Turkey Hill Chocolate Marshmallow.

When was the last time you called a contractor to fix something at your house?

Sometime last year? The spring? Must have been sorted well, as I don't remember! 

Are you a planner or spur of the moment type person?

I'm not a great planner but I've had to give up some of my spur-of-the-momentness.  I guess I'm maybe half and half.
