Yes. Just back from holiday so among a million other things, trying to re acclimate to the time zone.

How long does it take you to get over jet lag?

It usually takes me a good 24-36 hours pending on the time we get to where we are going. If we land at night the next night I am sooo tired.

What is your thanksgiving traditional meal - if you celebrate it?

Turkey and mashed potaotes!  And whatever else people bring - it's always potluck.

Do you get up early or sleep late on holidays?

I try to sleep late, but I'm so used to getting up early that even sleeping until 7:30am is late for me.   :)

Where did you go on your first holiday without your parents?

Atlantic City, I think was the first.  I was 17 and went with a friend from school.  We stayed at my grandfather's place while he was visiting his friend in NY.  We both got sun poisoning since we walked on the beach for about 5 or 6  hours with no sunscreen on!

What is one of your fondest memories of one of  your grandparents?

I have a lot of fond memories of my grandparents, but one of my favorites was 'doing beads' with my great-grandmother, my sister, and my cousins in her sewing room. She had loads to choose from.

Are your grandparents still living?

That's a nice memory.  :)  Sadly, no they are all long gone.  :(  I often wish I could tell them all about my life now--they would be proud and happy for me, I'm sure.  :)

Do you keep a diary / planner / calendar in your handbag or do you do it on the computer?

I do everything on my iPhone.  I'm a techno junkie.

What's the next live music even you're attending?

Most likely an open mic night next Tuesday.

Are you taking any courses or classes (non-credit) right now, if not would you like to and if so, what would you like to take?

Not taking anything at the moment but I'm thinking about taking an art appreciation class of some sort and some one off cooking technique classes.

Do you eat out regularly? If so, what is your favorite restaurant and what kind of food do they serve

Am I supposed to?  ???  I go offline and then close it and it goes into sleep mode.  I only ever turn it off completely when we go away for a week or more.  (It's a laptop)  Is this OK?

Have you ever left the front or back door to your home unlocked by accident when you were out?

I never turn off my tower - maybe 1x a week...to conserve energy I should but connecting my VPN for work is such a pain

I have left my keys in the front door when I went for a walk...I have left my back door actually OPEN when I left for a pub quiz one night - total blonde moments

Do you eat breakfast everyday?

I will happily eat leftovers preferably for breakfast or lunch the next day.  I will eat them for dinner if it's my favorite thing, but would prefer something different for dinner the next day otherwise.

Do you ever eat breakfast food for dinner?
