There's a fireworks thing and...um...I guess a little fair? I really have no idea. Anyway, there's a thing which will culminate with fireworks in a park across the river so we're going to that this year. Note to self - find super warm mittens.

No, but I like to buy 'Real Simple' on a regular basis.

Do you buy magazine subscriptions as gifts?

I have done in the past, but not in recent years.

Could you see yourself working at the same company (maybe a different position) that you currently work for 10 years from now?

No! It's a toxic (figuratively) environment and after being there a year and a half, I'm ready to move on. (easier said than done in today's tough economy!)

Do you have a pet, if so what kind and what is its name? If no, do you want one and what kind?
Let them eat cupcakes!

Officially Britishly since August 2013

We have three fish--Silvery Guy, Big Guy, and Orange Juice Jr.  Our neighbor's cat Dylan spends loads of time at our house--he's a big, soft, black, sweetie.

What is your fondest memory of now deceased pet?

I was on the loo once and my cat, Obie, wandered in and sat down to watch me. Yeah. Anyway, all of the sudden he farted and it scared him. He jumped up and looked back where he had been sitting.  It was hilarious! He was such a loving, cuddly cat, so I have loads of fond memories of him.  :\\\'(

What are your plans for the day today?

That is hilarious!  I miss my Poochie cat who died years ago, too. She was also very cuddly and loving.  :\\\'(

What are your plans for the day today?

Going to the opening of a new exhibit at a museum.

Will you carve a pumpkin for Halloween?

I wanted to, but now all I can think is "that's a waste of proto-pumpkin pie!"  Though Tescos had the big ones that don't taste as good so maybe I'll buy one of those.

What did your favorite (self-)carved pumpkin look like?

Two triangles for eyes, a triangle nose, and a smile with a tooth. I like to keep it old school.

Do you have a pumpkin patch near you?

Not that I know of.

Do you decorate your house/flat with fall items like pumpkins and gourds?

We will invite a few couples over for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, exhaust ourselves preparing it, eat too much and drink copious amounts of champagne and wine til way too late for a school night.

Do you have a favorite sweater?

Yes, but I think it may need to go to jumper heaven due to excessive wear!  ;)

Are you listening to a particular album a lot lately and if so, what is it?

No, but there is a song from some commercial that won't stop going through my head.

Is there something that you do every weekend, like go to a market, go out for breakfast, etc?
