No, but I follow a few of the UKY'ers blogs. I would like to start one but don't think my life is all that exciting.  :-\\\\

Have you ever won anything worth more then £/$ 100.00?

Yes, but rarely.

Have you ever played a practical joke on someone?

Yes, my bil is active duty in the US Navy. And the Husband comes from a long line of military service in the Royal forces. Every generation has served or will serve. The Husband himself is retired Royal Navy.

What was your best holiday/vacation?

ETA: my own question! Duh!

I have had a lot of fabulous vacations, but last year for my birthday weekend we visited friends in Barcelona and it was fantastic.

Do you have your fingers crossed for something??

Hmmmm. I am sort of waiting to hear about something but hadn't thought about crossing my fingers.  Maybe I'll try that!

What is the oldest piece of clothing in your closet?

I really have very little that is older than a few years.  However, I do have a black velvet, ankle length very fitted coat-dress (it's both, I think!) that looks very 1930s to me.  I got it at a thrift shop in North Philly 23 years ago!  It's handmade (no label inside), but doesn't really look handmade.  I suspect it's not really from the '30s or it wouldn't be in very good shape.  I'm sorta thinking of giving it to my friend's son's girlfriend as she is very goth and would probably love it.  I haven't worn it in years.

A new stripey buttonless cardigan that I absolutely love. I bought it the day before New Year's Eve.

What was your favorite food as a child?

One of my favorites (I had loads) was Campbell's alphabet soup or chicken noodle soup with a baloney sandwich.

What food did you not like as a child, but you do like now?

Lima beans and raw tomatoes. Not together of course!  :-X

What are you craving right now? Doesn't have to be food!

I don't think that would be so bad together--it would make a nice summery salad with a nice dressing.

I just woke up so maybe craving our Sunday morning coffee in bed together.  Just have to wait for hubby to wake up, too.

Do you wait for your spouse / partner to wake up on the weekends before having your coffee or do you have it on your own?

You're right, actually! I do make a summer salad that I LOVE that has both of those ingredients! I guess I was thinking about eating them together on their own. Doh!

I wait until DH wakes up. I'll usually make the coffee, then I'll go in there occasionally and hound him to get up so we can have it together!  :P

Do you use any special syrups or creamers in your daily coffee?

Nope, just milk and a little sugar.  But I prefer whole milk!  I hate skim milk in coffee (I'll tolerate low fat) as it is nothing more than grey water.  It is one of my pet peeves about staying at certain people's houses who eat tons of high fat cheese and yet only use skim milk in their coffee.  :-X

What is one food or drink you really hate to go too long without?
