How do remember to acknowledge Mother's Day in the US and UK (since they are celebrated in different months)?

I only have one mother and she only lives in one country I buy a card when I notice all the stores and restaurants advertizing brunches and special offers, and send it in early May.  That said, last year, I was in the States in May so while I bought the card here, I didn't have to remember to send it.

What's your "human tricks" talent? (something you can do that most people can't)

I can't do anything--can't even snap my fingers let alone stand on my head, be double-jointed, etc.  I *can* stand all day at work from 9 til 5 including running up and down stairs loads of times, does that count?

What type of music do you like least?

Country.

Did you have a pen pal?

I had three in elementary school ... one from Singapore, one from France and one from Finland. I so wish we had kept in contact beyond childhood.

What is your go to activity when you need to relax and unwind?

Crochet or surfing the net

Have you ever been in a helicopter? If yes, where were you going?

Yes, as a kid. Just went for a ride to nowhere in particular with my dad's colleague.

Have you ever been in a private plane?

No, but in the next 2 weeks I'll be flying in both a plane and a helicopter... not private ones, but RAF ones (a Grob Tutor and a Sea King) and in April I should have the chance to fly in a Squirrel too .

What's your favourite type of biscuit/cookie?

My grandmother's chocolate chip cookies (she is gone, but I make them now).

Doritos
