never been, but I hear Gretna Green is a nice place to get married in!

What do you know about Ilkeston? Or have you heard of the town?

Yes, I've heard of Ilkeston...
But all i know about it is that it is near Derby, and also near-ish Nottingham and Mansfield, which were both voted in the top 10 of the worst places to live in the UK!

Do you prefer to listen to the radio/music or watch TV while you're getting ready in the mornings?

radio while I'm getting ready in the mornings-if it's t.v. I stop to watch it

I tape CSI, Arrested Development, My Name is Earl and The Office (US version), mostly because I'm busy when they're on.  Plus, then I can zoom past all the commercials while I lounge in bed.

Already pre-ordered my reserved seats for The Lion, the Witch and The Wardrobe at the El Capitan Theatre on Hollywood Blvd.!!!  CANNOT WAIT!!!

For whom do you have the most difficulty in choosing a gift?

My mother.  She is a very plain person; no jewelry, no perfume, no make-up.  She has no hobbies other than crocheting and watching Disney movies (the latter of which she owns a complete collection, anyway).

How many times have you flown on an airplane alone?  Can you count them?

Never -- there were always other people on the airplane too (not the least of whom was the pilot).

But if you mean alone as in flying without a friend or family member present...far too many times to count -- what with family that live in (or have lived in) Kansas, Texas, Georgia, Maryland, and Florida...plus all the transatlantic trips while dating DH & then going back to visit US family after we married.

Do you like to go out on weeknights?

yes-well, I WOULD like to, but I go away every weekend now (outside of London) and spend a little time by myself





Do you watch any British soaps and if so, which ones?

I only watch EastEnders... once in a wee while, i watch River City.
