Top Chef. Though I'm no gourmet cook I'm fascinated by those that are.

What bone(s) have you broken?

I cracked my tailbone twice as a kid (once falling from a slide, once falling from a seesaw). Hairline fracture to the left elbow (about 22) slipping on ice. Then I broke my right ring finger in 2004. Although that one required two surgeries, it was two surgeries and five visits to a really, really gorgeous surgeon AND was all paid by workman's comp since it was an on the job injury.

What do you look forward to most from retirement (enjoy most if you are already there)?

I don't even want to *think* about being that age!  It's decades away, but I guess the fact that I won't have to work at a job just for the money (I'd prob still volunteer).

What was your first paying job (not counting babysitting, mowing lawns, paper route)?

I worked in the dietary department of a nursing home from the age of 15. I worked there up until the summers during college. It was actually a pretty good time and I made some good friends there.

What's your dream job?

I'd love to somehow get paid to ride roller coasters all over the world. Since that probably will never, ever happen, I'd love to write books, both novels and children's books.

If your wardrobe had to be all one colour, which one would you choose?

Haha, it already IS one color basically and that would be black!  ;D

If you were a teen again, knowing what you know now in your older age, what would you do different with those years?

I LOVED my teen years and really wouldn't change anything (except that one time I was really mean to my parents after we moved and I broke up with my first love! Sigh!)

But University years were a disaster! I wouldn't have taken 10 yrs to get a degree and gotten married to my first husband. (No kids or ties so it's ok to say that! LOL!) I would have had more fun and went exploring and dedicated myself more to music and singing! :)

What is one of your most favorite memories?

Oh boy. So many to chose from. I'll go with something recent. My big brother spilling his guts to my rehearsal dinner participants as to how much he loved me and my (now) husband and how proud he is of me. Sobbed to no end. And he's an attorney, so he was eloquent.

Your fondest memory of Spring time.

Walking in the Dales a few years ago watching the lambies jump with a dear friend, who unfortunately passed away last year.

Favourite midnight snack?

I broke that habit years ago!  So no snack, plus I'm hardly ever awake at midnight any more.  :-\\\\

What's your favorite quick-to-make dinner?

These days, chicken in Nando's sauce and some steamed veg or mash.

Top three 'to visit one day' destinations on your list?

Hmmm.....Italy, Israel / Egypt (I think), and my hometown to show it off to hubby--Philadelphia (haven't been back since I moved to the UK  :( .)

What vacation / holiday destination have you been to but would never want to go back to?

Cabo. It was a good time, but there's not much to do aside from pool time and booze time. Plus, safety is now a factor.

Woops, quick trigger.

What is the best movie, written from a book, that you have seen?

I'm sure there are loads, but Pride and Prejudice (the mini-series with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle) is pretty high on the list.
