As long as I am dreaming, I want seaside AND mountains, but I have always wanted a home in the mountains (not too far up or hard to get to) with lots of snow and several fireplaces.

What one designer article of clothing or accessory do you want most?

Probably a Michael Kors bag. Obnoxiously big and a bright color.

What was your first favorite 'stylish' (not pricey...but more than t shirts) piece of clothing you recall buying.

I buy everything on sale and when I was skinny, I would always shop the clearance rack at Dillards and always found cute Tommy Hilfiger shirts that seemed to always be the perfect fit!

Whats your favorite thing to go out and do with friends?

I'm sure I could come up with a zillion examples of horrid holidays!  Like hunting or fishing or mountain climbing (serious mountain climbing) with people who are super fit and athletic, or laying by a pool or on a beach all day at a resort with no cultural stuff going on, or 5 nights in an ice hotel in the Arctic / Antarctic....

Would you consider separate holidays (you and your spouse / partner)?

No, not really.  We genuinely like being together & going on holidays is 'our thing'.  :)

Do you & your spouse/partner sometimes have differing ideas on what makes/is a good holiday?

A little bit sometimes, but not anything we can't compromise on or work around. For example, he likes climbing serious mountains and I like seeing the insides of manor houses / museums.

On a long drive does your partner / spouse do the driving, do you do most of it, or is it shared between you?

I do all the driving. Hubby has never had a license and has no interest in getting one, because even as a passenger he has road rage issues. I am fine with this 99% of the time because I really enjoy driving. It is the rare occasion when I am tired that I wish someone else would drive. (On a side note, I was just thinking this morning how I could do with a bit of a road trip, and was even mapping one out in my mind.)

When on a road trip, do you like stopping if something catches your interest (roadside attraction or a sign for an attraction, etc), or do you prefer to keep on going?

Eh, depends on the mood! If I find it interesting enough I will stop (or I have done so in the past) but then there are time I just want to get there and just by-pass.

What is the longest driving trip you have done?

From Philadelphia to Maine, years ago with my ex.  He did most of the driving.

What new (or new to you) music have you recently discovered and really liked?

Going through a Turkish phase at the moment, like Mercan Dede and Erdem Helvacioglu, but not really new to me:

Curl up with a book, or run from the car to a museum. Both are my fave rainy day activities.

Where do you go when you want to hide from the world?

When I worked it was Sunday because I worked Mon - Fri and then did laundry and any housework Saturday so I could relax guilt free on Sunday. Now that I'm not currently working I don't have one.

Have you ever purposely left work undone for a co-worker to have to do?
