If money/space/practicality had no say, how many children would you have?
The same amount I have now--none.

If money / space / practicality had no say, how many pets would you have?

That question was just asked, I answered it; but I guess someone else can answer it now...

None.
I despise children, and am so thankful that I have never accidentally become pregnant.

What was the last beer you drank?

Heavy Sea's Yellow Tail Ale. When I was googling it to make sure I got it right, I discovered it's actually produced specifically for the pub where I had it! Huh. The sad thing is that was a couple of weeks ago.

How often do you drink alcohol?

I have no maternal instinct at all, my biological clock has never 'ticked' for me (at least not in a reproductive way).  My friend years ago said, wait til you hold and smell a baby and you'll want one.  I've held a few and sniffed a few but I've never wanted one.

I sometimes take sips of my husband's to see if I'll like it and I never do.  Except a couple years back while we were in the Lake District, staying at a place with it's own brewery on site, I tasted something that had chocolate in it and it must have had a lot of chocolate because I actually liked it.

What do you typically have for breakfast / brunch on a Sunday?

I despise children

Sorry everyone... I was pished when I wrote that last night and now am a bit embarrassed about it.  I think it's safe to say I never wanted children, and I avoid them in public places wherever possible, but for me to say i 'despise' them was a bit over the top.  ::)
I apologise to anyone I may have offended with that stupid comment!

We usually get up quite late on a Sunday, so it's usually more a lunch thing than breakfast... often leftovers from the previous night's dinner.

How many jobs have you applied for so far this year?

Zero, but I anticipate I'll be doing so in the near future!

If you're in a shop (and you're not working), do you talk to strangers?

Yes,  on occasion.

What are your plans for Mother's Day (UK or US) this year?

A card and an IOU for both, then take them out for a meal and give them each a gift when MIL is here in June. It is more fun that way, since they get along so well.

Were you born on a holiday?
Sort of--I was born on the Spring Equinox (first day of Spring).

Do you have an unusual middle name?

Sort of. (It's Autumn)

Have you ever been talked into purchasing something ridiculously expensive and then truly regretted it later?
