Does buying a townhouse during a recession count?? Then yes!

What was the last concert you went to?

It's been a while. DH and I saw Elton John in Scarborough, June 2011. During his first song (The One),  my now DH proposed. :)

That is unusual and beautiful!

Aw, thank you!  I was a little dismayed when it was included in the "white trash girls' names list" in the movie 'Ted'. LOL!

Whose turn for a question? Oh, I'll just jump on in!  :D

If you are an arts and crafts making type person, what do you like to make? Otherwise, what arts and crafts type thing would you like to receive from someone?

I am not a making-type of person. I appreciate anything someone's made for me if they truly were thinking of me when making it!

How do you feel about feta cheese?

I've been buying it lately for hubby to put in his salads.  I like it, but on the whole I'm not a huge cheese lover.

TPBM has known / met either Romany gypsies or Travelers.

My first encounter with travellers was when I was working in the O'Neill's pub in Ealing. I was behind the bar, and all of a sudden three kids maybe 10-12ish wearing halloween masks (it was October, to be fair) seemed to appear out of nowhere. The manager all of a sudden runs over and yells at them, chasing them out as the kids get all squirrelly and attempt to steal customer's belongings. Luckily they were not successful, but you can imagine my surprise at the commotion. I was then suitably informed of what a traveller was.

How are you at queueing? Any good queue stories?

I'd have to say I'm pretty good at queueing up.  I had a Disneyland annual pass for many years and am very used to it.  Luckily, I love to people watch.  I don't know if I have any good stories except for maybe once my mom threw such a fit once at a line jumper at an amusement park that she had the person ejected from the park.

Usually once or twice. Occasionally I might extend it to three times. It all depends on length of time I wear them, whether or not I am doing something that will get them dirty, and how hot the weather is.

When you food shop, do you generally stick with things you know you like, or are you always looking for something new to try?

If I go to a regular grocery store, I tend to stick to what I need. If I'm going to Trader Joe's or the very occasional trip to Whole Foods, I'll try something new.

Do you have a busy Monday on hand?

I did, but now it's over.  Worked, shopped, came home, cooked.

Do you have a habit that you are trying to break?

Is impatience a habit??  I am really trying to work on that.  Tho I am getting better at knowing when I am becoming impatient with DH and stop before I start an argument :)

What is your all time favorite movie?

Right now DH and I are enjoying our home-grown cherry tomatoes (both yellow and red) and soon our second round of peas will be ripe.  :)  We've also got squash, peppers and strawberries and miscellaneous flowers (including several massive sunflowers) but the tomatoes and peas are the highlights.  :)  Oh, and I've got lovely lavender from seeds I collected on our street last year.  :)

How do you dry your laundry?

When I'm at home in the UK, I dry it on standing airers and radiators (I don't have a dryer anyway), but here in the Falklands, I'm living in the Officer's Mess, so I either use the washing machine and dryer in the office at work when I'm on shift... or if I want to, I can leave all my laundry outside my room on a Wednesday morning and the mess staff will wash, dry and press it for me, and return it to my room on Friday morning :).

Where's your favourite holiday/vacation spot?
