"Bad Ronald". I watched it when I was about 10, and it was on television so it wasn't all that bad, compared to some films. It still haunts me to this day, because it is something that could happen. I want to re-watch it someday, to exorcise the ghost of it in my mind now that I am older and have seen far scarier.

Have you ever driven in weather conditions that scared you?

What's your favourite day of the week and why?

Monday. As a stay at home Mom, the demands of the weekend can be daunting and not at all relaxing because I'm always trying to keep up with things and create a relaxing environment for my husband. By Monday, I'm shot, so I usually don't plan anything for that day. I get up early and hit a 6am yoga class, come home and have coffee and breakfast before the kids get up, and just sort of vegetate the rest of the day. Friday is the worst, because I'm trying to have everything clean and done so hubby doesn't have to do much. Usually drinking by 4pm, lol.

What's your least favorite/worst day of the week?

Monday, because my husband goes back to work and my helper is gone during the days. I'm also a SAHM and the weekends are my chance to have some alone time while he has some quality time with his son, or do fun family things where I'm not the sole person in charge. I try not to plan things on Mondays so we can get back into our regular weekly routine.

Do you have a favorite museum?

Lol My hubby is a thinker, not a doer, and he's tragically handicapped at all things domestic. He does spend time with the kids, and we do things as a family, but he needs time to unwind, too.

In the UK, my fav I've seen so far is the National Portrait Gallery, and in the US I'd have to say the Holocaust museum in DC.  It's sad, but important.  There are MANY MANY MANY second place museums in both places. I love history.

What was your last travel holiday? Where/when did you go and what did you do?

Our last one was very short, just an overnighter. We drove to Nashville to see Megadeth and Iron Maiden. When we bought the tickets, we lived two hours away and were going to drive back that night. Then we moved and it was a four hour trip, so we decided to rent a room for the night, and took the next day off work to relax and enjoy.

What is the first thing you think of when you find out you will have some 'me' time?

That depends entirely on how much 'me' time. A few hours: Nap or read a novel. 24 hours: Sleep first, then see what happens.  More than 24 hours: Go window shopping by myself, run personal/pleasurable errands. Have not had more than 36 hours to myself since first kid hit the ground. 5 years. Feel obligated to and am eager to hang with my husband in the event of kids going to Grandma's house. Can't wait til move to UK, as MIL is retired and I can send them away during the week, lol [we homeschool]. I'm going to become a famous writer.

What is your secret ambition?  If you could stop your life and have any career or follow any interest/hobby, what would you do?

I've been thinking about this for a day now!  I can't pick just one, so I will say:  archaeologist, costume designer, jungian psychologist or therapist.  As long as I still have enough time to do my music.

Do you enjoy wrapping gifts this time of year?

I actually do enjoy wrapping, and love to get a variety of paper so it all looks festive and bright under the tree. I have to be stern with myself in the shops after I buy a few rolls each year. I save what is left year to year, and build up a collection. With this being our second year back in the US, I am working on building my collection. Of course, it never gets huge since I am using some of each, each year.

What is your most cherished holiday decoration? (Any holiday)

I'd have to say my collection of ornaments. Many of them are from my first few years and from family members no longer with me so they are nice reminders of better times. Unfortunately they haven't made it over to the UK yet as I'm too afraid to ship them and haven't been home since getting my FLR(M) and knowing I can stay!

If you could have anything for Christmas, what would it be?

I was thinking about this at work today. I would give anything for one more Christmas with all of my grandparents. Odd how no matter how much you love your grandparents, when you are a child, going to their house means cousin time, gifts and all the sweet stuff you can eat. It isn't until you are older that you realize how much spending the holiday with them means, and until they are gone just HOW much that time meant.

Do you do anything big to celebrate anniversaries, or just have a quiet day?

That's nice.  I've been thinking about my grandparents as well a lot lately and missing them, too.

The last few years we've stayed at a B&B in the Yorkshire Dales as a treat.  Since we got married at half term we always have that week off so we can go away for a few days.

Which one your grandparents did you feel the closest to?
