Autumn in Michigan - beautiful colors, nice snap in the air, crystal blue skies - ahhhh bliss!!

What is your ideal breakfast?  Forget about the fat/calories for now. :)

An onion bagel from Los Bagels in Arcata, CA - with cream cheese and smoked ling cod (back before it was overfished).  And a HUGE mug of Earl Grey.  Mmm....  :)

What was the first movie you saw in a movie theater?

Two - one set that is very nice and I use every day, and a crummy set I only use for coloring my hair.  Those get bleached every time I use them.

What is your favorite part of a holiday meal?  From a people perspective, but don't just say being with people.  :)

My family is a strange bunch, and invariably every holiday gathering turns into a giant Monty Python quote fest.  By the end of the meal we're all laughing so much we ache.  It tends to start when someone is careless enough to utter the phrase "I wasn't expecting...".  ;D

Which parade do you prefer - Thanksgiving or Rose?

Rose

Do you go out for New Years Eve or stay in?

Stay in - it's amature night, and I prefer to not be on the road with them.

How do you like your cranberry sauce?  Fresh?  Canned?  Jelly style?  Whole berry?

Hell yes!  ;D  It's one of the few days that my normal really early schedule actually pays off. I feel completely relaxed and happy being awake at 4AM and I am amused by all of those people clinging to their coffee cups looking shellshocked. <giggle> Tomorrow I am searching for a good deal on an external hard drive.

Have you ever had a Thanksgiving from hell? What happened?

Im sure others have had worse, but... one Thanksgiving i turned up at my extremely conservative parents' house on a motorbike, with a pierced nostril.  My parents just gave me grief about my mode of transport, and my choice of jewellery all day long (my mom made me put a plaster over my nose stud, cos it 'offended her'!   ::) .  At one stage i decided i was fed up and was leaving, i walked outside to discover a blizzard bad enough that i couldnt ride my bike, so i ended up having to stay overnight and take more abuse from them.

if you're celebrating Thanksgiving today, will alcohol be served?

What's the best Thanksgiving you ever had?

Have you ever, as an adult, played on a playground?
