Nope, have them always coming by when I lived in the US as they also come around  in the UK. I use to have fun with them but now I just tell them I'm not intrested and close the door.

If you have kids, would you bring your small child into town centre with all the holiday rush? If you don't have kids, would you when you do have them?

I don't have children, but if I did, I would take them into town centre even when it was very busy. The only reason why I wouldn't would be out of my own convenience, because pushing a baby carriage can be very frustrating on a busy street.

What was the first concert you went to?

Sly and the Family Stone - they were 1 1/2hrs late, and everyone was quite "unhappy" about it, although that isn't the word used back then

What would you give YOURSELF for Christmas, if you could have anything you wanted?
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

I already bought myself this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6821509014&category=63852  I didn't buy THAT one as that is a signed, overpriced version. I did get one of the second batch offered, unsigned and at at far more reasonable cost. That is the best pic I could find though. :) I have 2 Seatbelt Bags and they are WONDERFUL. They last forever and always look new. :)

What is the oddest/most unusual gift you have ever given?

I could not think of something odd I've given.  One of the oddest & sweetest presents I ever received was when I was living poor, and sharing accommodations with an even more impoverished female pal of mine.  She gave me a huge jar of peanut butter that she & her daughter got in a church/charity food basket that happened to have more than one very large jar of peanut butter in it.  It was all she could afford & I wouldn't have expected her to give me anything!  But we sure enjoyed all the PB&J sandwiches for weeks to come.

Do you keep in touch with your exes and if so - what sort of relationship (friendship, enemies, etc) do you have with them now?

I use to keep in touch with my exboyfriend but it started to become a competition between us on how much we've moved on, so I cut all strings, and now I don't keep in touch with any exes

Do you have to tell your husband/partner what you want for Christmas, or do they already know without you saying

I try to drop hints but after receiving a espresso machine two years in a row I'm not so subtle anymore.

Two songs: one that encapsulates your life ten years ago, and one that encapsulates it now.
I know I'm late - where's the booze?

Off the top of my head it would have to be Miss Elizabeth Bennett cuz I could live a lifetime with Colin Firth as Mistah Dahhhcy.

Wanted to add mine...which was, is & always will be...Truckin' because of the immortal line:  What a long strange trip it's been...

Downwards (over the top) - always!

What do you like most about where you live now?  What do you like least?

We wanted to live in this town reeeally badly... we bid on every house in our price range, no matter how unsuitable, but we kept getting out-bid (Scottish property-buying system of sealed bids).   Finally, after paying for far too many surveys on houses we were unable to buy, we got this house.   I love living in this town, but this house was a mistake... too many kids in the neighbourhood, bedrooms too small, garden ridiculously tiny, all-electric heating, etc.

I do love my kitchen... all decorated in lapis blue, bright white and silver/chrome.  And if i *must* live in this square, im glad we are in one of the houses set back furthest from the road.     :)

What mobile phone network are you on?

Wow, hard to narrow it down to one! Prolly Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf. Just because it's so raw and so real. The word-play is brilliant and the twisted ending imbues the movie with courage and humanity.  Plus Elizabeth Taylor is just fantastically outrageous in it.

Keeping to that theme:   what's your favourite season and why?

Autumn.  I love the crisp, cold air.  It's the only time of year that feels magic to me somehow.  Plus, it reminds me of my favorite place on Earth.

Same theme:  what is your favorite place and why?

Sweden. It is beautiful, in every season, people are calm and friendly and know how to have fun, and I swear it is really the Shire!

Did you go to your high school prom?
if 'yes', did you have fun
if 'no' (to attending the prom) why not?
