A crystal, light up statue of that "7 star" hotel in Dubai, but it was broken and didn't light up.  ::)

The last time I vividly remember seeing one was when I was in Mexico.

How often do you wash your car?

After visiting me shortly after I had my son, my mom sent me this email:  I keep telling people that my daughter's body has been invaded by a loving, nurturing, maternal alien.  You are a wonderful mother and have a wonderfully perfect son...and that's my objective opinion.

My mom's not one for compliments, so it really touched me that she said it.

What's the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you?

My god!  There have been so many...  I guess a fairly recent one would be:  When I first met my new in-laws-to-be (in 2003), we were having lunch in their garden, and I misjudged sitting on the picnic bench -- toppling over backwards, feet in the air (I had a skirt on :-[) & hitting my head against some bricks and flower boxes.  Then of course, Steve had the cheek to say -- well at least you were wearing pants.  I laughed...and then I cried.

Are you glad that the holidays are over?

Definitely.  I will be even 'gladder' when all the chocolate in the office is away...

What was the last concert you went to?

Hmmmm...well when we were on honeymoon in Barcelona (2004), it was during their Fiesta de la Merce and there was a free concert as part of that -- a really fun group from the Toulouse area of France called the Fabulous Troubadours.  (We liked them enough to buy their CD later on.)  Before that, I saw a Billy Bragg (and others) concert in Tampa, FL (I think that was in 2003 or 2004).

What was the last CD you purchased?

Just checked my order history on Amazon, and it appears the last CD i bought was in September, and it was Bob Dylan's 'Blood on the Tracks'.

Is your computer tucked away in an office or spare room, or is it in the main living area of the house?
