Picking up a friend and heading out to Pasadena to try and get my HSBC accounts rolling. We're going to try to catch that George Clooney movie "Good Night, and Good Luck" and do some shopping. (Lush!) Tomorrow is packing/sorting.

How many times do you hit the snooze alarm before getting p?

We don't use an alarm anymore -- we just tend to wake up at the same time (and in time) each day.  If we have to get up extra early for some unusual reason, then we would set the alarm.  I used to hit snooze indefinitely...  But DH doesn't like that, so it's up & at 'em when the alarm goes off.

Are you looking forward to spring/summer? ;D

To my mom if she were still able to really understand & remember...  For all the times I ignored her when I thought she was overly pestering me (phoning nonstop, etc) but she was actually on a downward spiral into dementia & poor health -- I didn't recognize her neediness then as a cry for help and attention.  Now I would give anything to be able to talk with her for hours on the phone.  (She's only lucid -- and weakly at that -- about an hour or so a day.)

What thing that happened in the past year do you most regret?

ex-boyfriend(s) --having to deal with them, talking to them, believing them, being stupid enough to trust them....I've learned my lesson on that one (finally)

What is the one place you've always wanted to go, but for some reason have never made it there?

Have never experienced the situation, but probably not.

Have you ever bought someone a gift and then liked it so much you kept it for yourself?

Not a chance. I'm a bit of fly-by-the-seat-of-my pants when it comes to that stuff.

And in that theme: do you have any major holidays planned for this year?
I know I'm late - where's the booze?

We usually do two weeks in the US (visiting family & friends of mine)...and I think we're doing two weeks in Andalucia this year.  We might throw in another quick dirty stopover here or there too. ;)

What was the funniest thing that's ever happened to you while at work?

i was working at a rental place, and the handyman was old, with white fuzzy hair - i didn't notice he was bending down in front of my comp, I looked up and wondered what that fuzzy stuff was on top of it!  I reached out to grab it, and he stood up - ooooops!

what have you done in your life that you really regret?
