Are you doing anything special for V-day?

no      I'm single this year.

But I will be making a ton of money watching kids so their parents can go out! 

Do you park you car in a garage, driveway or street? How safe do you feel it is at night?

Two cars - one in the garage, one in the driveway.  As long as they're locked I think they are perfectly safe.  Ah, the beauty of the midwest... haven't used a Club in years!


Do you have a bedtime ritual?

Yes and it is called sleeping.  Sometimes this ritual actually begins on the living room sofa, before I get to the bed.

Did you ever take piano lessons?

I did, not for long, and detested every minute of it because I wanted to take ballet. Of course now I wish I'd studied more! Parents couldn't afford to continue the lessons anyway. I guess I could take it up again now.



Have you ever taken a night class for enjoyment?

Other than yoga, I once took a pottery class with some girlfriends. I was really enjoying it but then one day our teacher didn't show up and an administrator from the school came in and told us that she had died...very strange. Apparently she had been ill for sometime but didn't tell us and things got really bad over a long break. It was odd and very sad.

What were you like as a teenager?

Really tall.
And really funny.
And really insecure.

So I would talk big, without anything real to back it up.
And I deceived and disappointed a lot of people.
Which is probably why it p*ss*s me off to no end when I spot it in others now.

Who would you have like to have kept in touch with from your past?

Nobody really. I still keep in touch with my friends from high school. Most of the people I don't keep in touch with, there is a reason.

What is your favorite song?

I don't really have a favourite song....it changes all the time. Right now, I've been listening to the Fijacion Oral cd (by Shakira) and to my old No Doubt cd's alot.

What's one thing you've gotten rid of that you wish you had kept?

My vegetarian cookbooks

What are you doing today?

Working and writing a research paper. 

Who in your family spends the most time on the phone?

we both avoid the phone like the plague.  when it rings, we both go 'f*ck!' and look at eachother like 'who's gonna answer it?'

have you seen your mother-in-law today?

Heavens no!  LOL -- She's in Ethiopia right now.
