I'd love to, but living in the States I only get to watch Westminster. :(

Do you have a favorite dog breed?  Do you own one?

Anything big and woolly - St. Bernard, Wolfhound, Malamute... probably because of my own size, but I can't stand little dogs (especially when they have bows - blech)... gimme one I can wrestle and can carry some brandy. ;)

I don't own one, but since I'm growing old alone, look forward to having a big enough place to justify getting one.  Thought I should have at least one dog, who will hopefully get along with all the cats. :)

Have you voted for a singer in Eurovision Song Contest?
Hollywood, CA -> London, UK 2004
London, UK -> Long Beach, CA 2007

Best 3 1/2 years of my life!

Thrift store chic.  Well, not really, but it is a mish-mash of stuff.  We've got an IKEA-esqe dresser, lovely pine sleigh bed, moorish looking armoire and crappy little "no tree was harmed to make these" bedside tables.  Plus, two different sets of curtains in the windows!  We're planning on moving, so we never bothered to make much effort in that particular room.

If you could open your refrigerator this very moment and magically find any food in it, what would it be?

Ok...this is funny and I think most of you, if you know what this is will think it is gross, but...a jar of gefilte fish. It is a completely acquired taste and I have been eating it since I was a child. It is one of the only things that I want that I can't get in my area. I miss good Mexican food and other stuff, but gefilte fish is just one thing I have been craving lately. Also, I think it is linked to missing my mom...silly, i guess.

What are the essential things that you take with you in your carry-on bag for a long haul flight?

Quick hijack....
I totally know what you mean!  Every so often I think "mmm... gefilte fish", which is funny considering I'm not a big fan of it to begin with! :P

It wasn't really about me, but i was shopping with my daughter and she pointed to one woman, and in a VERY loud voice said, "Mom!!  Look!!!  Isn't she FAT?!?"   When I shushed her, she replied, "BUT MOM, SHE IS FAT!"

Has your life taken the turn that you wanted it to 5 yrs ago?
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

My life is now in the place I never knew I wanted until I got here.  I have a beautiful four year old daughter, about to buy a house next year after hubby graduates college and will be renewing our wedding vows in Vegas on our 10 year anniversary. Life has been pretty good!

What would be the first thing you did if you won the lottery?
