For health reasons yes, but I still find him just as attrative when he was thinner. But I also need to lose a few.

Do you have a small fridge that fits under the counter or a large full size?

Yes, FIL bought us a new washer/dryer set for Christmas after the old washer gave out.

I like to fix stuff myself, assuming I've got the skills.  Plumbing makes me a bit nervous, so I usually have someone I know look at it.
