What would you "like to know" about the next poster....

Must be India.  Can't imagine where else that I've been to that has been that hot.  Arizona maybe?  I think it was about 105 in India when I was there.

Why do you think they call Chicago the Windy City?

Here's what I've been told:  It is called the windy city because of its politicians in the late 19th/early 20th century.  They were, apparently, a group of men who really enjoyed hearing themselves talk.  True?  Hard to say - I've Googled it, but there doesn't seem to be a consensus.


What type of bread do you buy?

I buy wheat, the husband buys white.


Are you good about sorting the laundry before you wash?

Yes, just not so good with folding it/putting it away.

Do you regularly drink wine with dinner?

Nope - my cheapness prevents me from purchasing much to drink at all - I stick with water.

What is the worst joke you know that makes you laugh anyway?

The one that little kids tell - knock knock with banana and orange.  They think they are so smart when they tell it!

Everyday I'm looking for something or other, mostly ebay though.

Ew none as it's not my furniture.  But I particularly like my bed if I had to choose.

What is the wackiest piece of clothing you own and wear?

What my friends have dubbed my Bay City Rollers pants.  Uh, trousers.
I think you can guess the pattern.  I dig them.  My friends... not so much.
Do I care?  Not so much.
(they are actually quite flattering!)

What's the most embarrassing thing you remember about your parents from childhood that you look back and laugh at now?

My mom was a '(class)room mother' to help with school parties & such.  For one Halloween party, she showed up for her room mother duties in a clown costume & proceeded to act like an idiot - well, like a clown would.  My classmates were all laughing hysterically, completely entertained, but I remember being mortified!  In retrospect, she made an awesome clown/entertainer.  (That's just one of many embarassing incidents but the first that came to mind.)

What was your favorite Halloween costume ever?

Starting at 4, I was Tinkerbell for 3 years in a row. My brother made me a wand with a star with a light in it.

what do you want for your birthday?

To start shopping for a house!  But my birthday just passed, so we are talking about a year from now.
