Sixteen Candles, although her cameo in Not Another Teen Movie was freakin' hilarious!

What's your favorite book?

The Analyst by John Katzenbach... Excellent, I've never read a book as fast, honestly couldn't put it down!

My upcoming move to Edinburgh.  I''ll be in a year-long MBA program, then working in Scotland for 2 years.  I'm stepping off this cliff and hoping to land on a job with a work permit.

Have you even quit a job and walked right out the door?

What job have you had that has made you look at that industry  or treat  those employees differently?

Call center.  I was resposible for quality assurance at a major auto manufacturer's customer support call center - over 150 agents.  I know how difficult it is to try to keep calm when you have a very upset customer on the other end of the line, and how hard those people work to learn the skills required to do that.

Do you think you will ever get where you want to be within your career/industry/specialty?

Yes~ I am already there. The only other place I could take my skills is into management and I have ZERO desire to manage people.

How would you describe your current decorating style? If money/space were not an issue, how would you decorate your home?

I am a minimalist, even if space/cash weren't an issue. I like the simple, classy, uncluttered look and am horrible at deciding what to hang where so it works well for me  ;D

What would want to do first if you knew when your last day on earth would be?

The very first thing that popped in my head when I read that: go to Disneyland.  I don't know if that's truly what I'd do, but I really don't want to think too deeply on the subject.  :-\\\\

If money and travel were no object where would you go to eat your next meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner, whatever) and what would you have?

I do make out a grocery list. I don't really wing it. I like to compare prices at different stores. Have a list of grocery items...not to buy at each grocery store chain. Do not buy the meat at the local ASDA(the meat at local ASDA is horrible..there is no taste to meat). Milk and yoghurts are not bought at local Safeway store(any time we buy milk or yoghurts..they always go off before shelf life date). Do not buy Tesco brand cod....doesn't taste nice. Then there is the list of grocery items to buy at each store. ASDA ..pizza. Sainburys meats...and so on.

When was the last time you had your eye checked? Did they tell you to get glasses or contacts?

About four months ago - I got new contacts (have worn them since I was 13, glasses since I was 10) and this time went with semi-disposables.  I totally love them!!!

What is your favorite quote - who said it and why do you like it?

My favorite quote is actually a poem.  I first read it in high school English class, and its power just blew me away.  It's "Do Not Go Gentle into That Good Night" by Dylan Thomas.  He wrote it for his father as his father was in his last days.  If you've ever heard a recording of him reading it, it would just reduce you to tears.

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang in the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray,
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

On a happier note...  what posters adorned your walls as a child?
