Yes, once in Japan.  And we get little tremors where I live occasionally (our fault line is much larger than the San Andreas, but is almost entirely inactive). 

Do raindrops on your head drive you nuts?

yep... was a full-time biker (no car, so rode rain or shine), and also worked as a motorcycle courier for a few months.

Describe your first ever bike... motorbike or pushbike, whatever!  :)

It was BIG, black and HEAVY. I am sure it was Cast Iron. It was the most hideous looking thing (I swear it was the first bike produced after the Penny Farthing went out of fashion).
