Great Question!

 "In Remembrance" by Eleanor Daley

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep

I am the thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glint on snow.

I am the sunlight-ripened grain,
I am the gentle morning rain.

And when you wake in the morning’s hush,
I am the sweet uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.

Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not die.

Yes, I helped to plan my mother's funeral (who is still living).  I picked out the songs that she would want.  ('Blest Be the Tie That Binds' and 'What a Friend We Have in Jesus' -- she also likes 'Blessed Assurance' so I may ask for it to be added.)

Have you had BBQ yet this summer?

Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in...

- from Anthem, by Leonard Cohen (b 1934)

I promise you, Carolyn... i changed my signature BEFORE i saw this!   :-\\\\

Have not had a bbq yet this year, but will probably have one next week as we'll be on holiday.

Do you have a favourite hymn?

LOL!  I like the cheese one better. ;D [smiley=laugh4.gif]

Do you have a favourite hymn?

Ok, I'm not at all religious or a believer of anything.  But as far as hymns go, I like The Old Rugged Cross because it was played at my dad's funeral.  And I like Will the Circle Be Unbroken for its old-timeyness & Cash/Carter connections.

And the question is...

Are you shopping for anything special this week?

Yes, a driving licence and a new job.  And some summer clothes if I can escape the doldrums of my office.

How often do you do your grocery shopping?

Birds, spiders, ants.  Nothing exciting. No rambles so didn't get chased by bulls this weekend.

Other than birds and insects, what is the most common wild animal you see on a regular basis?

yes, but I dont use it

(Fernet Branca is a bitter, aromatic spirit made from of over 40 herbs and spices, including myrrh, rhubarb, chamomile, cardamom and saffron, with a base of grape alcohol. The recipe is a secret, and was created by the young Maria Scala in 1845 in Milan. Scala's name became Maria Branca through marriage, and the product's name was born. The Fernet Branca is still produced in Milan by the company Fratelli Branca, overseen by the Branca family. Fernet Branca is usually served as a digestif after a meal)

do you sleep with a fan on in your bedroom when its hot?

No, but we should because it's been really humid lately......we've always got a window open to get some air in, anyway.

Did you go to your prom during school?

Of course! (I've been to six proms total - I was a prom hussy!)

Does it bother you when women wear white lacey bras under white blouses when you can see straight through it?
