I sleep 9 hours if I don't have to wake up by alarm, but I work really long hours at my job now so I only get enough sleep on the weekends usually.

what is your favorite breakfast?

If it wasn't so fattening, I'd say the works at a diner... cheese omelette, bacon and sausage (American-style), home fries with ketchup, and buttered toast. And strong coffee!

What song can't you stand, and what's your least favorite type of music?

Honeybee - that's two questions now... ;)  These are getting more complex all the time. :)

I can't stand that Froggie jingle-ringtone song (TV commercials) -- I'm old & 'out of it' so I don't know what it's called exactly.  Least fave music -- hmmmm, that's a hard one -- I tend not to like rap -- but there is some rap I do like...so I don't know, I usually find something I like in nearly every genre.

What is your favorite song right now & your favorite type of music?
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in...

- from Anthem, by Leonard Cohen (b 1934)

My favorite at the moment is Howie Day "Collide". I listen to many different types of music, whatever moves me, so don't really have a favorite type. I like most anything but some rap/hip hop and folk music  ;) but even then I could find something to make me laugh and sing along!

A very simple steak with delicious bordelaise sauce and fresh french fries, sitting in the courtyard of a breathtaking chateau in Brittany with my husband last summer, the whole setting was enchanting with hordes of excited french kids on a school trip as we sat in the shade and shared a lovely meal, followed by traditional breton cheesecake and then walked around the grounds down to the river......sublime :)

I wish my Simon were here with me.  Barring a miracle, I will wish that the is able to come in December with no problems from immigration.

What was your favorite stuffed animal or doll when you were little?

My "pink baby", which was a stuffed doll.  My dad gave it to me the day I was born, and I still have it (in a box somewhere).

Can you rollerskate?  As in the way we cavepeople used to do it, before all those newfangled Rollerblades showed up?

Does shock count as surprise? My 17 year old son recently apologized to me for being (his words) "an a$$hole" these past few years. I didn't expect that. And he wasn't that bad to be honest. :)

But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

I think I have a cool job. I am a cytotechnologist, and I use a microscope to look at human cells for signs of infection, pre-malignant, and malignant changes. :)

Do you mind traveling/sightseeing alone?

I haven't really traveled or gone sight seeing alone. Probably because I have absolutely no sense of direction so inevitably end up lost!  ???

Do you have any hobbies that could be considered out of the ordinary by some?
