Can you swim?  If so, when did you learn?

I can swim to keep from drowning.  Can I do laps and, like really swim like a swimmer?  No - it would be very comical.

Do you have photos of your SO on your desk or work area at work?

No, I don't have much personal stuff in my work area really. My co-workers are all gossips 

What is your favorite form of exercise?

Dancing

No

Have you ever been sky-diving? If not, would you if given the chance?

Have not been but would love to try! Wanna go? 


Have you ever been stranded somewhere....even for a short time?

(Love to! I keep trying to find someone who's serious about going!  )

Stranded.... not really anything too serious. Have had a friend leave me behind a few times but always found my way with some help!

What is it like in your house right now? (ie: tv on, music playing, quiet, dark/light etc..)

pitch black, except for the light from the computer monitor, and totally silent.

Do you like to burn candles?

before i got here yes..  then i noticed  that i was charring the  walls  (paper)  and i've lost interest.. 

 Who is your oldest friend?  how long have you known them?  where did you meet? 

Beth - I've known her for about 12 years.  We met when I was in classes to become Catholic and her husband was in the same class (RCIA).  We have been the best of friends since the day we met.

If you don't knit or crochet, have you ever wanted to learn how?

I do crochet but I wish I  could learn a lot more  stitches.. it is very relaxing and therapeutic..

First name is Josephine. I am called a number of things: Jo, Joey, JoJo, Josie, JP ( P first letter of middle name ). Most people call me Jo. Family calls me Jojo and JP. Some people call me Joey and Josie.

What is your favorite vacation destination?

Northern Michigan in autumn.  The air is clean and crisp, and it's so very beautiful!!!

Do you have someone at work that just makes you grind your teeth?  If so, how do you handle it?

No, but my direct manager audibly grinds her teeth at work -- which I find somewhat amusing (she sits in the cubicle right across from me).  Poor thing -- I don't know if she knows she's doing it & I worry about her fracturing her teeth.  Or...<gasp>...is it me?!?! (reason she's grinding her teeth)

Does anyone ever call you a name (nickname or worse ) that you can't stand?

YES!  The woman who works over my wall CONSTANTLY calls me Lisa - drives me totally crazy!!!  She knows my name is Liza, and still she calls me Lisa.  Now we have a Lisa on the team, and I said to a co-worker that it won't be confusing for Ruth because she never calls me by my name anyway!!   

WHEW!  Got THAT off my chest!!!  hehehe

Anyway - when you were little, did your parents say night time prayers with you?  If so, do you remember what it was?
