My Grandma did. I've adapted it a little for my son, I didn't like the "if I should die before I wake" part. We say Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the lord my soul to keep. Guide me safely through the night, and wake me with the morning light.

What's your favorite tune to sing or hum?

If I could hum a few bars then you would know it!!   ;D  But it's a really cool cover of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" - it was used in a tv ad here in the States, can't remember what for, only that they were going through a car wash at the time.  But I hum it all the time.

What is your favorite piece of clothing?

It's by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole - a huge (and I mean that literally) folk hero in Hawaii.  His albums are fabulous.

Okay, back to the topic....

My favorite item of clothing is a blue cardigan that I've had for about 15 years.  It's my cozy-make-me-feel-safe-and-snuggly sweater.  I practically live in it during the winter when I'm in the house.

Yes. I have 3 pairs of glasses and a set of contacts but 95% of the time I wear the one pair. I only wear my contacts if I am going out becasue I am simply too lazy to fuss with them. My eyes get worse every year. Occupational hazzard.  ::) [smiley=smart.gif]

Have you ever been written up (or worse) on the job? If so, what happened?

ermmmmm yes I got fired from a job because ummm..how can I put this without sounding wrong...ahhhh Ok, well I use to have a hobbie of drawing, and one day I had my sketch book with me at work because I was going to draw a tattoo for a coworker. Well on my break my supervisor decided to look on my desk at this sketchbook and she came to the conclusion that one of the page that I drew in my book was considered "pornographic material" and I was fired..... :-[ ..
........Dale just loves to go around telling all his mates his wife got fired from her old job for having porn at work, lol

(But honestly that shouldn't surprise too many people in here about me lol) .

ok - sorry, back to the topic

I love my job - I'm an IT Project Manager, and I just received my professional certification last year so that makes it even better for me.

What is your favorite tea?

I love green tea with jasmine, straight up. It smells gorgeous! Peppermint tea with no sugar or milk is right up there too... it's super refreshing.

What's your favorite outfit to wear for a night out on the town, and how do you do your hair and makeup?  [smiley=gorgeous.gif]
Plans on hold 'cuz Brexit

A night on the town?!?!  What's that?  Ha - for an 'old married' new-old-house-owner...LOL.  Well occasionally we do dinner & catch a movie.  I can't say as I have any particular favorite outfit -- just what occurs to me at the time -- frequently whatever I've worn to work (going straight from) or else something comfy like jeans & sweater.  As for hair & makeup -- occasionally I try, but for the most part, I just can't be a*sed. ;)  Sometimes, I think women 'dress up' mostly for other women to see them -- hubby prefers for everything to be OFF.

What's your favorite 'staying in' activity?  (if it can be mentioned) :P  OK -- well let's say other than THAT?

I'm a huge fan of games; board games, card games etc. The more the merrier as well! :)

What is your opinion on global warming? Real phenomenon? Media hype? Bit of both?

Totally real and a huge concern.  Over 30% of the polar ice cap is GONE.  Species are dying.  Yes - it's very serious, I just don't think people are taking it seriously enough.

Do you have preference - pen or pencil, blue ink or black?

Don't know the name brand ( my parents-in-law buy and make the tea for everyone ) but it doesn't taste too bad... like an Earl Grey imitation though  :P

Were you ( or are you ) involved in any sports when you were in school? If so, what?
