Not a sport, but I did earn an athletic letter in modern dance.  I suppose some could consider it a sport, but we were not competative.

Do you think you dated enough before deciding to settle down?  Or do you wish you had more opportunity to meet and know more people before you met your SO?

Which one?!?!  LOL  (I'm on my third - and final - marriage.)  I wish I'd had a stable upbringing that would have given me the emotional wherewithal not to marry the first loser that came along, and then the second one... :-X

But I've got a keeper now & I wouldn't trade him for all the world.  I had a span of about seven years between the end of my second marriage & getting married this time -- enough to finally get my head together. :)

If you could live any moment/event of your life over again, what would it be & why? Would you do anything differently about it?

I'd have love to have taken the golf schollarship i was offered.  Just to see how good i *could* have been.  My parents were amazing and let me make the choice, and i loved the life i had at UVM.  But some days i see women on the LPGA tour and think 'that really could have been me'.  I have the talent (natural born-dad is a golf pro) but didn't have the faith in myself.  I was young.

Then again, i'm sure i'd never have met DH.  So would i ever really live that moment again?  i doubt it.  :)

What is your favorite take away meal?

Chinese - hands down!

If you are studying or working, can you listen to music at the same time or is it a distraction?

Didn't really rent it, I borrowed it from a friend. "Cowboy Up" it's a story about a bullrider and his bullfighter brother, I loved it! I had never heard of it, but it really was good!

What do you do when you get annoyed by other people's opinions? Are you one to keep it to yourself, or speak your mind?

Wow... good question.  I tend to immediately want to set them straight (as it were), but over the years have learned to take a moment or two and decide if the argument is really worth the bother.  I tend to let it go, but when the topic lingers is usually when I open my mouth.  [smiley=lipsrsealed2.gif]

Do you warm to people right away, or do you need to take some time before you become chummy with someone?

Another good question!

I warm to *some* people right away but take time to do the chummy thing. I don't pursue friendships either, if someone wants to become friendly with me, it will take their invitation or asking for my number or to meet up for coffee, I hate initiating things and I don't know why!

Who is your best friend (non spouse) and when did you meet him/her?

my hot pink shirt with the two holes in the side (wearing it now!)

What was your most embarrassing moment?

Stayed in an emotionally abusive relationship far too long :( In retrospect I can't see why I didn't wise up sooner!

Have you ever fallen for a gay man, thinking he was straight?

I think so..   I almost drowned  in  Rocky Point Mexico..  we were on those  banana boats  and  it flipped over  and  I remember trying so hard to reach the surface of the water and  just not being able to  quite make it..  being too far down i guess..   I was starting  d to just  swallow water and  seeing the  surface but not getting to it..  somehow  I finally did and  remember seeing My  roommate's face  close to  mine  and  her telling me  that i was all right and  to  try to  breath!! we  were  still  deep..and thankfully we had  life vests  on..  because  I was  so weak  from  shock and panic..

has your SO  complained about you in front of his  parent or parents?  If so, how do you react?

As a matter of fact - the last time I saw my ex-in-laws, my ex was totally disrespectful of me in front of his parents.  I think it was about a month later I filed for divorce.   :o  (no, that wasn't the reason, but it sure helped me make the decision!!) ;)

How old were you the first time you had a "serious" kiss?
