Entry Clearance Application Mailed - I'm So Nervous!
« on: August 03, 2005, 03:01:01 AM »
I just sent my entry clearance application to the Los Angeles Consulate to get my visa stamped in my passport by federal express.  I am so nervous and anxious to get this done as its my last obstacle to get to the UK.  I got my HSMP approved after 9 months of waiting and now I have this final hurdle.  I guess  I am just thinking of all sorts of issues that can prevent me from getting this even though I shouldn't be worried.  My application was perfect with all the right documents attached.  Maybe its the fact that I sent my passport?!

Anyways, I would love to hear from anyone who has had this experience getting an entry clearance at one of the consulates in the U.S.  Please share your stories to lessen my anxiety.  Thanks.

I got mine back within 9 days.  Not a problem.  (I have a work permit).  I wouldn't stress too much about it to be honest...

Just keep breathing!  You've done the hard part.  Relax and enjoy your last few weeks in the US!  :)
