UK Low Fat Diet products versus US Low Fat Diet Products
« on: August 08, 2005, 11:04:36 AM »
I am currently on WW & have tons of US WW recipes, as well as UK recipes. I do enjoy the UK recipes, but would love the convenience of the variety of low-fat and fat free products we have available to us back home, which can make cooking not seem so much like a chore every day.

Does anyone have a list or any suggestions for lowfat or fat free UK product that might be comparable to a US product.  :) Just to name a few: Low fat Bisquick? Egg Beaters?  FF Muffin Mix? I would appreciate any suggestions!

Thanks!

You're right -- there's much less choice when it comes to "diet" foods over here.  At first, that was really frustrating for me, but I've learned to deal with it by adopting more of a whole foods approach -- buying processed stuff, whether it's diet or not, isn't really the best option anyway.

Forgot to mention -- there are several WWers on the board -- you'll need to PM balmerhon or vnicepeeps for access to the Shrinkers board (where all of us "losers" go!  ;)).
