Hi There,

I've never been there, but I am hoping to get there next weekend at some point as my fiance and I will be in London.

If you made it there let me know how it was and whether it's worth the trip, as we'll be with Dave's family outside London and won't bother making the trip if it's not worth it.

Hope the pickles are good..

Maureen

Hi Maureen,
I wasn't able to make it to the shop..we went to visit my hubby's sis in Kingston and ended up staying there too long to visit Covent Gardens..If you do go though, let me know if you find any goodies...

Hi Guys,

I think we will probably check it out on Saturday.  I'll let you know what it's like.

We popped in last summer, there's a lot of American goodies too, well worth the visit, they have a website as well...

I've been there once before, and it's pretty good, with a few items.  Though...I was a bit surprised, b/c it's not strictly "American" as I thought it might be, but as the name says  ;) Canadian.  So they had reece's pieces, baked potato thins, maple syrup and Aunt Jemima pancake mix, kool aid and cherry nibs - but was very small, and that was about all I could find.  There is also another small store, a few paces down from the Canada one that sold N. Zealand/S. Africa foodages.

I've been much more impressed with Selfridges, to be honest.  ;D

The last time I went to Covent Gardens ...I couldnt find them :(     I'm sure I just had bad directions and they were right under my nose.

Dill Pickles are my #1 missed American food item.  When my mom visited a few weeks ago...I had her bring me about 4 jars, LOL.   (Yeah I know ...that wont last long in this house either, hehe)
