Stressed out

I have a question that I hope someone will be able to answer.
There is a delay in our marriage because he is waiting to get his provisional license to provide to the registar since he doesnt have a passport, There is a 4 week delay at the DVLA. I am now 29 weeks pregnant and I am worried to death that she will be born before we are married. If that does happen, what will I have to do ,to get her UK citizenship? Do I have to go back to the states and go through the consulate all over again?

Please don't worry!  She won't have to leave the UK!  As soon as you marry, she can apply for her British passport.  You'll be FINE!

Expat is right you're fine! She isn't her illegally or anything but she won't be a British citizen until after you're married, that's all.  Don't stress!   

Don't get worried..it'll be fine...Jess was born in Aug..and I actually postponed our wedding from Oct to Dec in order for mates to fly over...you're not gonna get deported and perhaps you can get your little one a cute wedding suit too

That is so great to hear. I was convinced I had to get her an american passport then fly back to new york and go to the consulate in new york again and try and get her a visa. That is a load off my mind. Thanks!
