Bringing Curling Iron over (Split from LIST)
« on: December 22, 2003, 07:09:23 AM »
I haven't moved to the UK yet, so this poll has been very helpful to me!

One question though- why do a couple of you wish you had brought a curling iron? Are they available there? I completely depend on my large barreled curling iron to straighten out my hair every day, but was not planning on bringing anything that I had to plug in except for my laptop. Just curious! Thanks!

Hiya ncjenuk!
I had a large barrelled curling iron on my "immediate purchase" list for when I moved over and I was just really disappointed when I was only able to find one at Argos- and it wasn't the same quality as the one I had back home - WAH! I would definitely suggest bringing your favourite one with you and just using an adaptor!  :D Funny thing happened to my hair after being in the country for a month or so...it went totally straight! And I had spiraly curls before!  :o My husband still jokes with me that I complained too much before and had it taken away from me hehe

Can I add to the list?  :)

Eucerin face moisturizer
Carmex
Cinnamon Tic Tacs
Auburn Loreal 2000 calorie mascara
Neutrogena Healthy Skin Cream Powder makeup
Cream of Wheat

I'm sure there is more but I've pretty much learned to live without until people visit or we go back to NY!
Happy Holidays Everyone!

Jen  :D
