I got curious tonight (Belindaloo will like this)....notable Welsh people - and these are*actual* Welsh people...not just claiming Welsh heritage:

Richard Burton – Port Talbot
Sir Anthony Hopkins – Port Talbot
Catherine Zeta Jones – Swansea
Timothy Dalton – he was James Bond twice – Colwyn Bay
Richard Thomas (aka John Boy Walton) - Llwynhendy, Llanelli
Manic Street Preachers
David Gray
Robert Plant Shirley Bassey  ;)
Bonnie Tyler – you know…"Total Eclipse of the Heart"

Plus*loads* of others...even Dawn French...but my husband *hates* her! LOL

See it was a test....yeah that's it....it was a test of you folks!

I was quite shocked at John Boy Walton....who-da thunk it?

Of course some surprising (maybe not so surprising - after all it's a *good* thing to be Welsh!) people claiming Welsh heritage:

Tom Cruise
Dean Cain (Superman series)
Tammy Wynette (actually both her parents are Welsh but she was born and raised in the USA)
Kylie & her sister
Tommy Lee Jones (fathers side)
Kevin Spacey
Russell Crowe
Bette Davis (her father was a Harlow Davies from Davies)
Minnie Driver (father is Welsh)
Vinny Jones

and the list goes on!  Cool!  ;D

Oh hang on is "Being welsh" the new fad like "Being Irish" was before... ???
But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

No maybe not...most of these people have recent relatives that are Welsh.  Not like the Irish thing, where it was 10 generations ago and a distant cousin by marriage.  ;)

For example: Tom Cruise's father is from Flint, North Wales

Kitkats in the US are made by Hershey's, KitKats elsewhere are made by nestle, hence why I think they taste better here ;)

I was born in Cuba and was fortunate enough to have Kit Kats there as we had access to dollars.  When we moved to the US my mom sworn that they didn't taste the same, I kept telling her she was crazy but no i see she was right!  They really do taste different.
