Any one else caught out by the BA strike?
« on: August 12, 2005, 04:33:17 PM »
It looks like my girls will have a few days tacked onto their US holiday although my Mom has not been able to get through to BA at all.  Is anyone else effected?

not personally yet, but if it continues longer, I may be.  My company has been, as BA is our corporate airline for business travel.

My sister in law and her family are supposed to fly back to DC with BA tomorrow night.  If not guess they'll be with us a bit longer.

Well, so far their flight is still scheduled to go ahead.  So fingers crossed.   :)

What a horrible situation for those who are traveling. Not a good way to start or come back from holiday. What a nightmare for BA, they are supposedly going to lose over 40million pounds for refunds, having to pay for lodging, etc. Sheesh.

The girls are booked on Continental for tomorrow.  Luckily for them they're staying at their Nana's so it's no big deal.  I feel sorry for people caught at the airport or trying to find a hotel.
