for everyone looking for childcare (babysitting) services in your area maybe have a look at this place for info on local area services and circles:

check the link called Bestbear services
But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

Is it a UK wide agency? I'd like the details as well please! I think we may have found a reliable sitter through one of Stu's work colleagues but it would still be good to have an agency to fall back on.

Liz, I don't know if it was UK wide or just in Warwickshire.  But as soon as I get the info, I'll let you know!

If I lived closer, I would offer. I babysat for extra money b/c while working for the Gov't in DC, I always needed it ;) I would still be willing to do it here.

I'm sure you'll find someone responsible and reliable - any relatives of your husband (I'm assuming he's british, apologize if I'm wrong) know anyone?

Thanks Pittpanther, No my husband is not British he's actually Swiss/African, so all his relatives are in Zurich or Africa.  We are both new here and don't know many people.

Thanks Alicia for those GREAT sites, I have registered with both and waiting for the packets to come in the mail.
I will check out this recent one you just posted also.
