Hiyas, my name's wench, or Barbara (or even, hey you).  I've been in England since 1 Nov 2000.  And yeah, it took me *this* long to find the group lol.  (btw, thanks eversomuch Elle, as strictly speaking, you found it lol).  erm, not much to say, tho if you're interested in a flight deal to the states, check out my post (erm, under cool stuff I think) on the subject.  :)
or just go here....http://walkers.corpex.com/cr15p5/freeflights.asp

Hi ya, wench!  Great that you found the site...and always better late than never.  :)

I first came to the UK in Dec of 2000, so not far behind you and only found this site a few weeks ago myself!  What part of the UK are you in??  I'm in London but there are people here from all over.

Anyway, you are very welcome and hope you will post and chat with us lots and lots!

(Oh and thanks for the tip on that Doritos thing!  I'll be checking that out fer sher!)

Welcome Wench!  Whereabouts are you in England?
Life should NOT be a journey to the
grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well
preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand,
wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and
screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

I'm living in Feltham  (armpit of London, or so I'm told...hehe).  I hope the Doritos thing will be of help, I know it'll be funding my first trip back home!  :)  As for people being shy....well, I met my husband on his first foray into a chat room, and the only reason he was chatting with me was he thought I was another guy (and therefore safe to chat with lol)  luckily for both of us I'm female (and he still has the long hair that started our conversation).  :D
Last place I lived in the states was Davenport Iowa, but I've also been in (ahem) Florida, Georgia, SC, NC, very briefly Tennessee/Kentucky (right on the border), and twice in Germany.  mua ha! [smiley=charming.gif]

LOL, I thought so too. Welcome wench, glad elle passed the site on to you. :)

She told me about you, I'm from Clinton (Iowa), just a short roadtrip from Davenport. We have live chats on Tuesday nights from 8-10pm, if you're free, we'd love you to join us. We'll be adding Sunday evenings to that as well soon.

(can you tell I'm enjoying the smileys far too much?)
I'll try to make a chat or two, but unfortunately Tuesday has been dubbed Everquest night by my husband so I'll no doubt be spending some quality carnage time with him.  :)
aaah, the Clinton lady....I've heard about you.  :)

Hey Wench!  Welcome to the site!  I am also from eastern Iowa, but I can pretty much guarantee that you've never heard of it. ::)  That Doritos deal is fantastic, but don't think we'll be able to take advantage of it :'(  My husband is a primary school teacher, so he only gets certain days off and it is blacked out over that period.  poo.

Hello Wench!  Good to meet you.  Sorry I didn't say hello yesterday, but I wasn't online.  Day late, oh well.

Between photos of Elle's hubby and this lovely quote of yours I'm starting to belive there are actually still long haired men on the planet.  Gives me hope for the future it does! ;D

Anyway hope to see you in chat, but if not I'm always around on the boards (usually anyway) so um, yeah.

mua ha, the guitar one is well cool, but I'm digging on the whip one.  :D  mmm, don't get me started on his long hair....when it's wet it reaches the bottom of his, um, bottom.  lol.  ask me about the first time I saw his hair sometime and the (comical) battles that ensued....

Hey Wench!  I lived on the TN/KY border for a while too!  Where abouts where you?  I was just south of Bowling Green in Franklin right on I-65.  Ever heard of it?

Actually, I think I *have* heard of Bowling Green, but can't remember what.  Unfortunately the time I spent in TN/KY was only 8 months...specifically the first 8 months of my life before my family shipped off to Germany lol.  However I do have family in KY, mostly about Corbin I think....haven't been there in yonks.
