I have no one to share it with (can't get in touch w/Belgium Beer) so I'm just going to shamelessly plug my trip to Croydon today.. Got it in a whiz!! Got there around 10'ish and was out by 3:30 pm. Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
The only shi**y aspect is that we had to pay again!! We paid $430 in the city for my fiancee visa and was told that we wouldn't have to pay again once I apply for the FLR(M) visa in the UK... But the rules have changed and as of August 1, 2003 they are now charging for the visa! **Cough**cough** to cover administration costs!! £150 by mail and £250 by person.
The other minor annoyance came from the the case worker asking how long Glen has been here.. Umm, 10 years (I don't know). Well can you prove that?? Nope. Where is your husband now? Working. That was the end of that and 5 minutes later I get that stamp in my passport and now I can work!! (and **hopefully** will get a call back for the position I applied to at the American Embassy!!)
