Best:  It's ice cream!

Awwww, I'm sorry gretel!  Are you in the UK?  If not, it's basically soft serve ice cream from the ice cream van (man / truck).  I put it in quotes because I suspect there isn't much real dairy ingredients in it.....but it is yummy!

Wood floors....Best--they look terrific!  Worst--not much bad about them except maybe cold in the winter.

Wall to wall carpet in the bathroom (yuck).

Hmmm.  I am in the UK, but London and I don't think we get many ice cream trucks.  I will be looking for them this summer!!

Andee, you have hit on one that there can't possibly be a best for!!!!!!!  We had wall to wall carpeting and even after it had to be replaced because it got moldy because the shower leaked, the landlord refused to replace it with tile!!  He replaced it with more carpeting after the month it took to dry out the bathroom. (We had 2, 1 with carpeting and 1 without.)

So,

Best: Moving out of the flat with wall to wall carpeting!

Worst:  As Andee said, yuck!

Booths at restaurants.

Yeah, double yuck!

Booths at restaurants--

Best--cozy and intimate.
Worst--not that good for people watching.

Eating out on your own.

Best: I usually end up not eating too much, amking sensible choices, and not too much alcohol

Worst: The meal usually goes too quick by yourself


Squash (the drink)

Worst:  It's mostly sugar (or artificial sweeteners which is even worse).

Best:  You can at least regulate how much of it you use.

Blustery, rainy March days (like we're having today around Leeds).

Best: Great excuse not to have to go out in it and/or do anything

Worst: When you have to go out in it and/or do anything in it


Air conditioning

Best: It's lovely to escape into anything air conditioned  on a warm day.

Worst:  Hard to find in the UK.

Liquid eye liner.

Best: if applied by a professional (lol) 

Worst: if applied by moi 

Potty training

Best: No more nappies!
Worst: a lot more "accidents".

Best: Changing the look of a room in the blink of an eye

Worst: Putting the blinking things on!!!

The NHS

Best: Free Free Free Free Free! You can actually afford to talk to a doctor!
Worst: assuming you can get an appointment.

NYC

Best:  Super exciting and so much to see and do from museums and galleries to food to shopping to people watching!

Worst:  You've got to have your wits about you and a full day can leave you exhausted.

Disney World

Best: Disney!
Worst: Florida in the summer

buying cocktails

Best: Some fun cocktails out there to try!
Worst: Trying ones that are horrible and still paying for them
