I once went as the falling of the Berlin Wall -- I painted an old fridge box to look like a wall, wrapped barbed wire around it and added some German graffiti (i.e., "Adolf loves Eva").

'I never loved Eva Braun
a thousand people say I did
she was just some girl who was on the make
Boy she wanted to be so big.
And in the end it got to be a drag,
She's doing her exercises every day
No matter what people say,
I never loved Eva Braun.'

- Bob Geldof (presumably on behalf of Adolf Hitler?)

 ;)   ;)   ;)

But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

Great shirt!

Yeah but for the price of it I'll bet I could buy us a round of drinks.  After all, no one cares about the costumes after knocking back a few  ;D.  I know which I'd rather have.

she's selling quite a few so I think she can afford to buy a few rounds so for those that don't like costume ..you could easilly make a few $$$/££££ from the saps that do... ;D

[smiley=heart.gif] costumes! After all, that is why I'm here in the first place (for my studies)

I could never get into the cosplay/comic con thing that's just too weird...Jess and I have been invited to do the mermaid parade next year so we'll be dressed up a mermaids on roller skates...it's just fun for her to see me being silly with her...that's the fun for me... ;D

I'm with you on the comic cons- I am just too different from them.

The mermaids on skates sounds really cute!

Let's take our wigs off in the shopi aisle and fight it out.

Sprigged if you're interested in earning a few or some UK costuming experience I suggest in looking if Angels Fancy dress is looking for interns ...they provide costumes for tv and movies . The have internship opportunities and it's a good way to network for costume drama work for the BBC... ;)

Oooh, Thank you. I will look into that.

I would love to work the BBC- that would be my perfect job, if they would take an American :)

BBC also has a costuming internship but they have a LOONGG waiting list and film and training institute also does a program too:

Wow, Alicia, thank you!

Maybe if I signed up now, I'll hit the top of the list 'round the time of graduation. :)
