For the wine-o's!

OK, so this is super selfish, because for anyone who orders this case, I get three free bottles, one of which is my fav. Rioja ( ).

If anyone is interested in ordering wine from Laithwaites, they've got an introductory case (not sure exactly how much it would be, but the one we get regularly is £40 plus £7 shipping - 12 bottles which is far less than what they'd be per bottle at the offy) and I've got forms to introduce friends to it. We got an intro. case originally, and now we belong to their wine club and get a mixed case every 3 months. It's NICE wine - far better than the average £4-£5 bottle (which is about what it averages out to.) I'm sipping a glass of a very tasty syrah right now. 

So if you're interested in being "introduced" as my friend, pm me your full name and address - they'll send you the details and when you order a case, I get my 3 bottles.

Well, you can customize orders, but we get an all red case and let them put it together (we're adventurous like that!  ) and this one has a couple French (a Bordeaux and a claret that I didn't notice the origin of when putting away), a couple Spanish (a Rioja and a Tempranillo,) a Chilean Shiraz that's mighty tasty and something else that I'm not recalling off hand....

Rioja is my favourite too - reserva, not crianza or grand reserva.

Do you always have invites available or is this a one off? This sounds like a good deal for when I finally get there.

Do they have a web site I could check out first, Anne? Often, these deals never work out to be such a bargain once I make my picky selections.    But if I like it, I'll do everything in my power to get you those free bottles!!

I should get invites with each case, Courtney! So that means I'll have more in about four months unless we do another order between now and then, which we might do now that I'm working!
