If you could live anywhere in the UK, where would it be and why?

Where I am right now...London...I love cities and London is a great city for me - not too big (like NYC) or too small...sorta like Boston which I loved living in.  If I had to live anywhere that wasn't London, then I'd probably look for a place like Bath or another smaller city with history.

From where I have been in the UK I think I would actually stay in the West Midlands. I probably would move from Coventry into the Warwick countryside though. That way I could have the pleasure of country living with the convenience of the city only 15 min away.

I'm quite happy in this part of North London.
But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

I'd move to the west end of Glasgow.
Glasgow, because that's where DH grew up, and i lived there for many years. DH's elderly parents are there, as well as all our old pals,  and it's a lively and interesting city with great pubs, restaurants, shopping, and .... Rangers FC.
And i'd choose the west end because there are some really lovely houses up that end of the town.

I'd never tell.  Cuz I wouldn't want to share it with too many other people.  ;D

Awww...  :) I have a soft spot for Glasgow too, having been here over a year... it's such a fun city... except we support Celtic.  :P (Only kidding, we're not all that much into football, so don't hate me!)

Anyway, I'd say the Scottish countryside near a loch or seaside would be ideal... as long as there was a supermarket kind of nearby.
Plans on hold 'cuz Brexit

If I absolutely had to choose it would have to be either in the countryside but not far from Newcastle or ditto London. I like country living but need to know I can get to a proper city quickly and easily.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

We'd move down to Somerset.  Jamie and I both like it there, and it is where his sister lives as well - in Wells, about 5 miles from Glastonbury.  I love the feel - and ancientness - of the place.  And, the fresh, clear air, and the fact that it's no where near some of the people I would rather not be near to.  If Jamie could find work down there, we'd be there in a heartbeat.
I was born in the Summer and at Night...my mother named me AUTUMN DAWN.  True story.

Jamie's...beyond the stars and past eternity.

EMAIL or PM me for information about gigs or about booking me (solo gig) or the band.

Exactly where I live now. I need to be near a beach. I hate city life. I like the community feeling of a village. I adore the countryside. I don't like lots of people around me. I don't like lots of traffic or noise or litter or graffiti or gangs of unruly teens. Where I currently am is perfect.

Second! I agree with this 100%. I am even going on hoilday to Bath.

Although, I may like to have a country house for every now and then.

Let's take our wigs off in the shopi aisle and fight it out.
