Cait - have you tried quiche? Philip adores it, and we get frozen mini quiches (or make them) and he inhales them. Great hot or cold as well...

No, I haven't tried that, Marlespo.  Might have to give that one a go.  :)

It has been a great way for us to get spinach and other assorted veggies down Philip's throat. If it is in a mini quiche, he wil eat anything!

My husband knows that quiche is the only way I'll eat mushrooms.  ;D

Jackson likes quiche too.

Also, what about some fried potato, especially if you have any left over mash - you can mix in a few vegetables and fry  it, have it with poached or fried eggs, lovely.

Liz, would you come over to my house and make me the above for breakfast. Sounds yummy!!  I am hungry now after reading the posts....

I gave Niall a bit of quiche with dinner tonight.  Afraid it didn't go down well.  :(

Uh oh. Did he keep it down or was it difficult just to get down?

Quiche was the last thing I ate before going into labor with Jack and if I'm not mistaken it was also the same thing Lunar ate before going into labor with Calvin :)  No quiche for me anymore!

This morning I gave Coby some soda farl with butter and honey. He loved it but it has to be toasted well otherwise its way too doughy.

He wouldn't eat it.  Took a nibble, turned up his nose and that was that.  To be fair, it had veggies in it and getting to eat veggies is a struggle at the best of times.  I looked for plain quiche at the store last night, but everything had veggies in it.

I'm sorry, quiche just triggers the B-52s for me.  8)

Cait, did you serve it hot or cold?  Whichever way you served it, maybe try it the other way?

Sainsbury's makes one that smells and tastes like pizza - it's the only quiche my 11-year-old will eat.

We gave it to him cold.  I'll try it hot if I can find some plain quiche.
