Don't have one.  Some people suit the name chosen for them and others do not.

Everyone is totally going to laugh at me, but...

I have always loved the name Gaylord.  I just think it sounds so manly and cool.  I would never use it, for obvious reasons, but I do love it.

(Funnily enough, my husband's grandfather once told him that if he ever had a son he should name him Gaylord, because it was the finest name for a man.  And he was serious.  Hubby always said his Granddad would have really liked me... ;D)

I've always liked:

Molly
Emmaline
Jocelyn (which my friend used for her daughter born yesterday!)
Natasha
Anastasia
Alix (saw it somewhere and thought it was pretty)

I've also always liked the name Tyler, for a boy or girl.  I'm one of those weirdos who likes the idea of boy's names for girls.  If my son had been a girl he would have been Dylan.

I have always liked the name Bathsheba but I don't think I would name my daughter that if I had one.  When I was pregnant we picked Violet if it was a girl - it's kind of sweet and unusual these days without being outlandish. Plus purple is my favourite colour! If we have another boy we think he'll be called Finn (which was high on my list this time around).  This is partly after Neil Finn who we are fans of,  but mostly because I couldn't get my husband to agree to Finnbarr which I think is a great name.

Back when I was pregnant w/my first child and we were told she was a boy after a scan, I'd decided on 'Jackson'.  It's my maiden name, and would have been a way to name him after my dad w/out sticking the poor kid with 'Melvin', a name my dad has always hated!!!

For a girl....I quite like 'Ivy'.  Not sure why...and I'm sure there would be jokes about 'Poison Ivy', but I've just always liked that name....
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.
