I don't plan on having children, but I do still think of names ... more like future cat names, but it's the same thing to me. They're my children. ;) I'm a traditionalist; I don't like modern names. Boy: John. Girl: Alice.

If I ever have wee ones, one of my sons will be Luke or Paul.

I loved Emma for a girl, but it has shot up in popularity since Friends  ::). When I was little, I used to wish my name was Elizabeth, so I might use that. My dad recently told me that they considered that name for me, but decided against it because my cousin (his niece) has the same name.

Emma or Mia (combined with Rose) is a popular name here that and Sebastian ..nearly every child I visited through work was a combi of those names

I like Rose, too! I've always been partial to flower names for girls -- Lily, Rose, Daisy, etc. I even like Hyacinth, although Mrs. Bucket sort of ruined that. ;)

And Alicia is nice, but I've always loved "Alice in Wonderland," so I think I'd have to go with the Anglicized version. A friend of mine always wanted to name her daughter Lucy, but she married an Italian man -- so they ended up going with Lucia instead. Same sort of thing.

I love Alice in Wonderland but I was teased because  back in school  the only Alice was either the maid or the waitress... :P

but now since Alicia Silverstone , Alicia Keyes ..it's become popular which I'm starting to get annoyed over...hmph!!!

All my sons names are traditional, but used family names for their middle: Christopher, Nicholas, Joshua and Caleb...my daughter's name is Jasmine (picked out waaaaay back in the 70's before Aladdin)

Nicholas is probably my favorite boys name, but I also like Logan, Zachery, Alexander

Girls: Jocelyn, Danica, Natalia, Alexandra
