If anyone can help me out that would be great. I just got my visa stamped for my work permit the beginning of August. I had the consulate post date my visa to begin October 18, 2005. If for some reason I need to enter before that, will the immigration officer let me? I may need to start working prior to that, so would the officer let me have my one year start prior to the October 18th date?
If anyone has had this situation, please let me know. Your feedback is much appreciated.
