ok, bar-b-q burgers, with bar-b-q sauce slathered all over them, and onion rings piled on. I'm even craving Carls Jr. now, that's how bad I've got it!!

Stomach growling, mouth drooling, you know the way they serve hamburgers in diners back home, open, with the lettuce and tomato and pickles on the side, and you can pile it up yourself? Yum! And french fries dipped in blue cheese dressing!

The best burger I had in london was at Pick More Daisies in Crouch End (North London).  The Burgers were definitely american style.  Big Juicy thick handmade patties, without all the seasonings and egg and breadcrumbs that make a typical english burger far to reminiscent of my mother's meatloaf (BLECCCHHHH!).  The fries were yummy too.

Unfortunately, I don't think Crouch end is particularly accessible, buses only or a fairly long walk from one of the stations on the Northern line.

I have been want to to Try the Gourmet Burger Kitchen.  I think there is a new one in Belsize Park.  There is definitely a new burger place there, but I can't remember the name.  I hope it's a GBK.

West Hampstead is not far from Belsize Park.

Mmm, pickles.  Lettuce, onion, tomatoes, pickles, mustard and ketchup.

But fries w/blue cheese?  Blech!

Good ol' Heinz 57 is the way to go!

My sister got me hooked on it, it's actually good!!! I say 'bleck' to the fries and vinegar thing! Man, I miss good pickles! Bread and butter pickles. Why are they called that anyway??

Burgers that are really thick, grilled outside on a summer afternoon, with a pile of condiments sitting on a picnic table, lots of squirt bottles.......

I'm not big into dairy products, so I'll hold on the mayo, blue cheese or ranch dressings.

But some nice relish would be good.

I love the juicy, mouthwatering burgers they serve at the Outback in the States.  It is so wonderful....YUM!!  I tried one here in the UK at an Outback, it was lousy.  I am going to the States next week, so I shall have one of those fab burgers from Outback.

Hey Aaron...there's a GBK in West Hampstead...right on the Jubilee line...and here's to the garlic mayo (drool).  And yes, there is a new one in Belsize Park which is much more quiet than the WH one.  Can you tell I've been to both?  Not good for the diet!!!

Don't forget about In-N-Out Burgers. I'm a vegetarian and I still crave these once in a while. :)

If you're going to do fast food burgers, Good Times is the way to go!

But there's really nothing quite like Cue's on Post Oak Road.   :D  Except maybe the built in BBQ in my mom and dad's backyard.
