Expat are you from Houston too?

Post Oak Road....I remember that road name from when I was little..........

We lived in Pasadena at one point I can remember.........my dad worked at Porterlight? I don't think it is around anymore...they made plate glass........I remember that cause my dad was carrying one and it broke..and it sliced his arm very badly and he had Dr Debaky (?) whom is suppose to be a famous surgeon from Houston...he was his Dr.

I live in Needville back in 1993 for a couple of years........

Good lord - now I know how to get everyone fired up!  One post about hamburgers yesterday afternoon and when I get to work today and turn on my computer there are 31 replies!

Not that this is a bad topic or anything...

All the burgers I've had in the UK have been gross, even the ones we've bought at Sainsburys and what not and cooked ourselves so I plan on making my burgers from scratch.  They'll taste much better and I won't eat them as much :P

Oh my... Del Taco  :\\\'( I've never tried their hamburgers but love their food. They don't have Del Taco in the Midwest!

mmmmm, Del Taco cheeseburgers with the nice soft pillowy bun!  Their fries were good too!

I'm thinking I'm going to get some lettuce and stuff at the market tomorrow and make some nice juicy cheeseburgers for us this week.

Bleh. I was never a Del Taco fan.

In and Out Burgers... mmmm. I do miss those. They were superb and so simple and when I was living in AZ the closest one they had was a 30 minute drive away - which we did anyways! They've built one down the street from my folks since I've moved.

And I always had a craving for a Carls Jr until I went back in February. Wasn't as nice as I remember it being so that kind of killed it for me. Although I still crave their chicken sandwiches dunked in their buttermilk sauce. In fact, now that I think of it, I dunked everything in their buttermilk sauce. Loooove that buttermilk sauce.

I love Bob's Big Boy!!! I grew up eating their chili spaghetti!! And yes, their hamburgers are "WOW"! Also totally miss Jack in the Box!! And their secret sauce. I actually experimented once, and figured out how to make it. I tested it on my parents, and they said it tasted just like Jack's secret sauce! We all love it.

I do like my own homemade burgers especially with stilton mixed into the mince

I had a pretty good burger at a Beefeater recently.  It 100% angus beef and not that sort of premade frozen kind you find in some places.

Love Jack in the BOx, but for their Tacos....
