I start working with premies in a few days *nerves , nerves*
But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

I leave for Lancaster on the 25th.  I'm going a bit early to spend some more time with DF's family.

Yes I know it's Christmas... my parents are flying out the same day and I'm hitching a ride to the airport so I don't have to leave my car for 6 months.  Can't imagine the parking bill that would ring up :o

Believe it or not I can't wait to NOT HAVE A CAR!!!  I loathe driving... Lancaster and moving to London next year will be heaven in that respect. :)

Uni is going good for me, I feel like I have to study more here, despite having less class time.

Some of the professors are frustrating as hell because they are so disorganized, and the University system here seems so archaic and disorganized.

It depends on the uni and the classes, but overall... it is a different planet...a lot more self motivated than in the USA.  Though is it so bad to have to think more?  Maybe!

 ;D

I have so many times wanted to scream and kick and pelt some one because the univeristy system can just make things SO difficult for no reason other than poor planning.

I know they are trying to change....

I hear the Spanish system makes the UK one look easy and uncomplicated!

Oh, I believe it...as much as I miss my sweet little Mini, I hated the stress of bad drivers, tailgaters, speeders, traffic...ug. Plus, you get so much good exercise when you walk.  :)

Let's take our wigs off in the shopi aisle and fight it out.

Oh, it feels so good. I must reward myself...My mates and I are going ice skating on Thursday, then we are going to have Christmas treats. I'm going suprise them with some cheap bubbly to celebrate the end of our first term.  [smiley=elf.gif]

This butt walks a mile to college every day and back from our flat, up steep hills, sometimes 3 times a day.  [smiley=bootyshake.gif]

Yes!! That's whats good about it, I'm very much in shape! If it weren't for all the walking I'd probably need to go to the gym alot more frequently.

EWW see I HATE the gym but I love walking, could walk all day.  So a mile there and back sounds right up my alley :)  I'm looking forward to it!!  LOL even if I could get a car in the UK I wouldn't have the slightest clue what to do with a manual, the gears would be shot!  ;D

Oh, me neither! I have NO idea how to drive a manual... it would just terrify me to have to re-learn how to drive on the left AND use a manual at the same time, so I think I'll just stick to walking and taking public transportation!  ;D
