:'(Nothing like Target exists here in London, more's the pity. A decent option is Argos, though. You just have to deal with the fact that you can't see and touch the merchandise before you get it. You can pick up a free catalog and ponder your options, and then you go and fill out a slip with the merchandise numbers, take it up to a till to pay, and then wait for your items to come up at another counter. I must say, we've had pretty good luck with it, though being a tactile person, I miss the merchadise interaction!
We got our phone, toaster, tea kettle, drying rack, ironing board pad, iron, underbed storage, mattress pad, and possibly some other things there. If without your own transportation, however, I'd recommend doing the shopping in batches - that stuff adds up, weightwise!!
