Dont know if any Londoners can confirm this, but im SURE there are 7-11's in London.   I remember one near where i used to live in East Dulwich, in Lordship Lane.

I dont live anywhere near London but that is interesting! Have you ever been to that 7-11 you mentioned? I'm just curious whether or not it's similar to the US one's with the "Super big gulps" etc.

Otterpop, my husband tells stories of 7/11's in London but that was some years ago.  They became B2 (Budgens) and then were probably either sold off or closed down.

LOL!! Somehow, I can't imagine anyone but us Americans being interested in "super big" anything when it comes to food!!  :)  At least I hope not anyway - please, please tell me the rest of the world is not becoming super sized too!!!!  That would just be horrible.

I was hurt when I realized that there is no vodka in Smirnoff Ice.  I felt like they were trying to trick me.

OOOOHHHH.......don't forget that staple of the 60's and 70's "buzz culture", Colt.45 :P.........add Mikes Hard Lemonade to that list too.
